1. NAVY WIDE PETTY OFFICER (E4 – E6) ADVANCEMENT EXAMINATIONS

The Navy Wide Petty Officer Advancement Examinations for USN, USNR (Active), Full Time Support (FTS), and Canvasser Recruiter (CANREC) will take place on the following dates: E-6 (4 Sep 08), E-5 (11 Sep 08) and E-4 (18 Sep 08). For more information please review the attached NAVADMIN 126/08.

2. FORCE MASTER CHIEF/CPO SELECTEE RUN

As we rapidly approach this year’s Season of Pride, my office has begun preparations for the annual FORCM/CPO Selectee Monument Run. All Command Induction Committee Chairpersons are encouraged to contact HMCM(SW/FMF) Doug Glascoe or HMCS(SW/AW) Jose Esquilin for further information and roster development. Their contact info is listed at the bottom of the page.

3. GOVERNMENT CHARGE CARD TRANSITION

Please review the attached NAVADMIN 162/08. It provides information and guidance on the upcoming transition of Navy Charge Card vendor from Bank of America to Citibank effective 30 November 2008. Current contract that covers Department of the Navy (DON) charge card expires 29 November 2008.

4. HIGH YEAR TENURE MILPERSMAN 1160-120

Did you know that Sailors with less than 10 Years Time of Service (TIS) as of 01 JUL 05 their HYT limit is set at 14 years? Those Sailors with more than 10 years TIS as of 01 Jul 05 HYT Limits is 20 Years. Please review the attached MILPERSMAN Article 1160-120 for more details.

5. OVERSEAS CITZEN VOTERS WEEK

The Secretary of Defense has designated 28 June through 7 July 2008 as Overseas Citizens Voters Week. Please review the attached NAVADMIN 170/08 for more information.

6. ENLISTED APPLICATIONS FOR THE USS CONSTITUTION
