So, Just have to add that some facts Mr. Obama stated were wrong, and am surprised that it hasn’t been stated yet. In the beginning of Mr Obama’s speech he states its been 40 years since a living recipient had received the Medal Of Honor. What about Robert R. Ingram one of our fellow Corpsman! Did he not get his presented in July 1998 by President Clinton. Now I know it had been more than 30 years at that time since his actions in Vietnam had been deemed worthy of receiving such an award, but it TRUELY has not been 40 years since a living recipient has been present at the White House. In fact it was yet again a CORPSMAN who answered the call to “Corpsman UP!” and gives this rate the rich history that we all hold dear.
