Annnndd… the Navy is trying to save money again..
I can’t say I don’t agree with this, I do. If your a habitual under-performer, can’t carry a weapon, can’t get re-classified etc.. you should get out. There are to many people trying to get in the Navy who have a better attitude or can do the job that needs to be done..
That being said, you should educate yourself on this change.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT PERSONNEL RECEIVE TRAINING ON THESE CHANGES.2. BASED ON INPUTS FROM COMMANDERS AND COMMANDING OFFICERS REGARDING
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE FOR OUR NAVY’S BEST AND BRIGHTEST SAILORS, THE
REASONS FOR SEPARATION UNDER REF A HAVE BEEN MODIFIED TO DEFINE
CATEGORIES OF UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE OR SITUATIONS IN WHICH AN
INDIVIDUAL IS UNABLE TO CARRY OUT THEIR ASSIGNED DUTIES. COMMANDERS
AND COMMANDING OFFICERS MUST ENSURE THEY PROPERLY PROVIDE AND DOCUMENT
REQUIRED COUNSELING/WARNING ON A MILPERSMAN 1070/613 PRIOR TO
SEPARATION OF MEMBERS UNDER THESE CATEGORIES. ADDITIONAL REASONS FOR
SEPARATION INCLUDE:A. AN OVERALL 2.49 CUMULATIVE PERFORMANCE MARK AVERAGE FOR TWO
CONSECUTIVE EVALUATIONS.
B. PROMOTION RECOMMENDATION LESS THAN PROMOTABLE WITH NO

so i have a question im an HM3 right now and when i get back from my deployment i will have 9 months left on my contract. Now, it looks like if i dont fall under any of these categories i should be ok to re-enlist am i correct or is there something else im missing.
