I have not been Playing Hooky..

Hello Doc’s, Family Members, Vets, and Recruits….

I have not been playing Hooky, last week was a very busy week for me, I was running like my tail was on fire.

• My Daughter had her 1st Communion ceremony on Saturday, which means we have family and friends descending on our humble abode and therefore means the Admiral (My wife) was in full Field Day Mode for a week.  I found dust in places that I didn’t even know existed in my house.

• Sunday the Admiral hosted a baby shower for our kids God Parents and Also her best friend. (We name her Vice Admiral the Mom to be).   Vice Admiral is pregnant with twins and it has been a rough pregnancy already, so we wanted it to be a good day for her.

After a full winter of snow, and some more in the spring, then turning to rain (I was looking for a ARK) the heavens cleared on Saturday AM and into Sunday.  We had the most beautiful 2 consecutive days since last year.

My daughters ceremony was just fabulous, and the Baby shower was great as well.   All the work put into both events payed off.

We thought we were home free…. Until yesterday when The Vice-Admiral was admitted for pre-term labor (She’s 32 weeks along), and it looks like she will be in for a bit if not until the 2 bambinos are born.  Last night we essentially adopted 4 more kids plus our 3.  So Seven Total, and my Admiral was at the hospital all night with the expectant Mom.

I think things are all sorted out now, Uncle is up to watch The V-Admirals kids, with us on Stand-by if needed.  My Admiral is upstairs right now trying to catch up on sleep and I get the kids in a few hours.. Only my kids though.. 😉

So I am trying to get caught up from a week away, quite a bit has happened and I apologize that nothing was written about HM2 Trahan, but I am a staff of 1 for the news.  I will get caught up.
