Your probably wondering why I don’t have a post up in commemoration of 9/11/01.
It’s not that I have forgot, or I’m a Jerk.
Far from it.
Here is what I posted on Facebook Yesterday and it’s honestly how I feel.
I don’t need a anniversary or holiday to remember 9/11..
You should never forget and always be vigilant..
Your military, police, Fire, EMS has our backs!
Thank a Hero today and everyday..
I also wrote this to Chief Luby who I served with at Corps School:
I know. Some feel like I’m callous for not acting like everyone else going overboard with the day. I have all kinds of conflicting emotions raging inside of me right now. I remember all our Brothers and Sisters and those we lost on 9/11 every day. There isn’t a day that goes by in my life when I don’t think about them all. I don’t need an anniversary to remember. I have the experience of living through it and having been a member of our Armed Forces standing the watch like you all.
So you see, while I don’t go overboard like the Posers out there acting like they give a crap (Yeah I’m Mad!) I remember everyday.. and you should too!
