A day out with “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”.. and my family…

Today was one of those days that I just had to get away from my computer.

Crazycajun and myself have tried just about everything we know to save the forums, but keep coming up short. I called Network solutions yesterday, trying to figure out how to save our SQL Database, and woke up this AM to the message of;

“Yeah we can help you, for $50.00 for every 30 minutes of work.”.

I know I have said it before, but I am walking from this place after we fix this. We will be moving our hosting to someone new. I pay 110.00 a month for this crap? (Oh yeah we had a price increase as of April as well.).

So I walked away from the site today, just to clear my head and went out with my family to see “Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules”. I have to say I really enjoyed myself watching my kids laugh and smile, after a weekend of me just frowning. After that we went out to Famous Daves, for some good “HOT” Bar-B-Que.

All in all it was a great day, and I have a few more ideas as to wrangle this thing down. I also have a few folks who want to volunteer to try to help us. Mark my words though, once this is done.. we are pulling Chalks, and moving our site to another provider. I cannot and will not recommend “Network Solutions” to anyone. It used to be the Star of hosting, now it just a money grubbing business who doesn’t give a flip about their customers.

So please give us a few days, we will get this under control.
