Thank you for our biggest day ever!

We had our most traffic ever for 1 day on Corpsman.com yesterday.  Between the front page, the forums and Hospital Corpsman.org, we had over 25K visitors yesterday.  So much so it knocked our server offline around 1200.  Lucky for me I was monitoring the site.

While I would like to think it was because of my pithy Veterans Day message, alas it was not to be.

“VETERANS DAY SPECIALS FOR EATING OUT” won the day….

What can I say the Veterans of our country love to eat!

I am happy to say though that over 3000 of the hits were to my Vets Day message and I received responses on here, Twitter (twitter.com/corpsman_com), and on our Facebook group. (Facebook look up the Corpsman.com Group on site).

Usually I write something self absorbing uh-rah message, but I couldn’t this year as one of my best pals is suffering from PTSD, and one of my co-workers when I was in has been suffering for years.

It’s not something that we can sweep under the rug, these folks need help and need to be able to feel comfortable asking for such help.

Anyways, this was not a post that was supposed to be a downer, I just really wanted to thank you all who visited, and hope you continue visiting Corpsman.com.
