This Outpost has been used as such for millenia, all the way back to Alexander the Great
One of my Shipmate Instructors, Truly hardcore and a great Photographer is taking these while on deployment in Afghanistan. He has graciously given permission for us to display them here as I see fit, so you can see scenes not displayed by the regular press.
This photo shows what our Forces are up against. Can you imagine this one outpost has stood the test of time as far back to “Alexander the Great”!!
We can build all kinds of contraptions, but the best defense continues to be “Mother Earth” herself.
