It’s a Long Long Road back…It’s Monday July 5th.. are you off today?

Quite a few commands were given 96 hour liberties.

I hope you were one of them.

The downside of that though is we always wait to the last minute to leave to come home.  This can be dangerous when your trying to squeeze in that last kiss with the honey, or the last inning of the game you have tickets to etc.

Kiss Kiss

Give yourself a little extra time in case something goes wrong on the return trip.

Mondays like today were always nuts in the CDO shack for duty at NHCS.  I’m sure right now they are getting calls from students all over the country who were granted out of bounds chit’s but for some reason or another are “Fingers in the airs “DELAYED” in getting back.

Boy some of the stories are humm-dingers too!  I guess they don’t believe we were students at one time either. 😉

So be responsible, give that honey that one last smackaroo, and get back to where your getting paid to be safe and in one place.

Be safe!

Happy Trails..

Yeah was speaking to the Admiral this AM about when she used to be in PCola and I would have to drive to NOLA, always waited to the last sec…

we were the same way when I was in too – get out as early as possible and get back as late as you could without getting your ass in a sling ;~)
