Ok I am sure I am out of the Navy now.
I realize I got out in 2007, but I still was able to have my finger on the pulse as to what was going on.
Not this time.. I completely “WHIFFED” on these results being released.. (or some results.)
There were “0” Slots open for HMCM (Selected Reserves) this year so no one was advanced in our rate to E-9.
It’s been a long time since I saw that, It happened to me my first few times up for HM3 back in the 80’s. My final multiple had to be 999.99, this is when you know your rate is locked up as it was for me to make HM3 in the TAR(FTS) Navy in and around 1985-87.
IT SUCKED!
But numbers are all about retention, and what this tells me is that no “HMCM’s” in the Reserve Community got out this year. “NONE” retired?
These are things that make me go “Hmmmmm?”
Anyways, the HMCS (E-8) Paygrade for Selected Reserves had a nice Juicy Bump of new folks:
HMCS - SENIOR CHIEF HOSPITAL CORPSMAN 4380 BOLING GREGOR 010 8403 CHRZANOWSKI M 003 2156 DALEY ROBERT 001 3910 DIAZ JOEL 015 5743 ELLIOTT JUDI 002 8789 GREGORY PAMEL 012 6059 GRENNAN MICHA 011 6791 HEDIEN LAURA 013 3949 IMBODY LISA M 007 1211 MARKWORTH LIS 008 1330 METCALFE KEIT 016 4035 MOLL ERIC MIC 005 5819 SCHASER BRETT 004 3027 SHELBOURNE WI 006 6390 SHERMAN WILLI 009
Congrats to them, and unortunately it looks like it will be hard to make HMCM later on. You better not be taking desk jobs, but putting the fight to the enemies, the WONKS, The ADMIN POGUES! 😉
Congrats to all, and I hope it opens up next selection cycle.
Next up the Active Duty HMCS’s..
Someone send up a Flare Please!!
