HMCM (MASTER CHIEF) FY-10 Quota Numbers (Looks Good!)

We released the numbers for Senior Chief yesterday, well today we have the Active Duty Master Chief Numbers for FY-10.

Master Chief Anchors

Eligibles: 236

Quotas: 35

Opp: 14.83%

FY 09  Opp: 11.17%

Well now we know why the numbers went up for Senior Chief!  This is a good Omen… As it will reflect as well for HM1’s trying to make HMC.

For those that don’t understand,  CPO and above is mandated by Percentages.  There can only be 10% of the Navy Enlisted as CPO, and less for HMCS, and less even more for HMCM.

The only way for folks to make rank who are junior is for slots to open up.  It looks like either folks retired or advanced up.
