Boy I hope you did everything you could to put the anchors on this year. The numbers have gone down from last year.
If your a HM1 sitting in a hospital and have not been deployed, don’t have a warfare device etc.. Don’t expect to be awarded these. If your sitting in the comforts of your home, going to school, and the only thing you know about Sand or a Steel Deck is from the beach, don’t expect these. You have not earned them. I hope your leadership has advised you the same.
To all the others out there who are hardchargers, GOOD LUCK!
Last year 37.93% made Chief of those board eligible for A/D Navy.
This year, only 23.81% will be putting the Anchors on from those eligible (1306 were eligible).
This is a big decrease.
